Ms. M. K. Suja has over fourteen years of work experience in various spheres of social service. Besides, she has put in seven years in teaching and research. Her area of specialisation is medical and psychiatric social work.

Ms. Suja is involved in freelance counselling and guidance in the area of alcoholism and substance-abuse trying to rehabilitate those with such problems. She also carries out direct-service activities to help students and families with mental and emotional disorders or social maladjustments.

Ms. Suja is a UGC NET qualified lecturer. She has presented papers in many national/international seminars and published articles in various magazines. She is a member of National Association of Professional Social Workers of India and OISCA International. Her other areas of interest are street theatre, folk art forms and extension services.
