Physical Education is imparted to students. The College has a fully equipped gymnasium with state-of-the-art facilities. Large Football field, Volleyball and Basketball hard courts (concretized), Cricket pitch and a well maintained track enable the students to prove their power in the sporting arena. The college provides incentive and encourages sports activities and gives Physical Education a status on par with academia. We also encourage the students by awarding prestigious prizes and giving fee concessions in recognition of their achievements in sports.

Head, Department of Physical Education
Mr. E. Saravanan has four years of experience in teaching and research. He is very much interested in the game of cricket, and had represented Bharathiar University for three years (2002-03). Later, Mr. Saravanan was appointed as a member of the committee to select Bharathiar University cricket team. The university also deputed him as coach cum manager of Bharathiar University Softball Team. Mr. Saravanan has presented 4 papers in International and 7 in National conferences. As the head of the department of physical education, his major aim is to strengthen the sports and games activities in CMS College of Science and Commerce. |
