| The department has mathematics association – FLUXION, which regularly organizes guest lectures, seminars and personality development programmes by inviting resource persons from other institutions and industries. The objectives of the association are to give students a platform to nurture their talents as well as to provide them an opportunity to listen to experts from other institutions. |

| Value Addition Programme:- |
| The department offers Value Added Courses every year to both UG and PG students. Examination is conducted in March/April in their respective value addition programmes and a certificate is issued to students based on their performance. |
| The students of 1st B. Sc. and 1st M. Sc. are given communicative English programme.
The students of 2nd and 3rd B. Sc. are given C programming Language and MS office.
The students of 2nd M. Sc. are given java programming Language.
