Mrs.Girija has twenty six years of teaching experience. She was the first- ran holder in M.Sc Mathematics and the recipient of Mgr.Thomas Moothedan Gold Medal from the University of Calicut in 1981. Mrs.Girija has qualified in the State Level Screening Test of 1990. She has attended and presented papers in several National and International Conferences and published four papers in national journals. She is a recognized M.Phil guide of Bharathiar, Bharthidasan, Periyar and Vinayaka Mission Universities . Besides Mrs.Girija is a Life member of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society and Acta Ciencia Indica, the Society for the progress of Science. She was an N.S.S. Programme Officer and an IQ auditor of the college for three years. At present, she is a member of the senate and a Member of the PG Board of Studies in Mathematics of Bharathiar University
