The department of electronics offers degree programmes at the undergraduate level in electronics and communication system from 1993. It also offers post graduate programmes in applied electronics from 2004.
The department aims at providing quality education in field of electronics. The department has a team of well qualified experienced and dedicated faculty and technical staff to guide the students. The department also has excellent infrastructural facilities with state of the art laboratories. Using the man power and infrastructure the department aims to provide flexible, life-style-friendly education in the field of electronics. It wants to serve as a centre for fostering co-operation and exchange of ideas between the academic and research community on one hand and the industrial community on the other.
The hi-tech facilities like 20 MHz CRO, Function Generator etc., support the students in their students. A separate microprocessor, microcontroller, VLSI &DSP lab helps them in updating their skills. Our students bring laurels to the college by getting university ranks. They are placed in several companies like WIPRO, IBM, INFOSYS, HCLINFO System Ltd, L&T, MEDIA COMPAINES etc.

(b) A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Physics/ Botany/Zoology
(c) A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Mechanist or Electrical Motor Winding. |

Activities
INFONICS & PRISM Seminars and Guest Lecturers:
The association of electronics Department was started in the academic year 1993-1994. one of the marked traits of this association is to equip the students with the practical and updated knowledge to meet the challenges of the ever-growing technology. Seminars and guests lectures by eminent personalities are arranged to impart the right kind of knowledge by frequently analyzing the current trends. The prime concern of the INFONICS, the UG association and PRISM the PG balanced personality with the necessary social & political consciousness leading to creativity and academic excellence by frequently organizing personality development programs. Workshops are also organized to train the students to develop their technical skills and to have practical experience in the most relevant issues of our fields.
