Dr. Rammohan, M.Sc., M.S., Ph.D.

Dr. Rammohan has over 20 years of teaching and research experience, including 4 years industrial experience. Dr. Rammohan obtained his doctorate in Interdisciplinary
Biomedical Sciences from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. His research areas include design & development of liposomes / microspheres for tissue targeting and imaging,
and drug delivery to tumors and tissues. Dr. Rammohan was responsible for establishment of research facilities for Millipore Life Sciences and Membrane R&D divisions (currently Biosciences) in Bangalore, India,
which serves this multinational company in product validation, applications and technical support. Dr. Rammohan was a faculty member in the Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Dept. of Medical Laboratory Science, Northeastern University, Boston, where he had earlier completed
his Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in the Laboratory of Advanced Pharmaceutical Research. He was also a Member, Curriculum Design &
Development Committee, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Northeastern University, Boston. He is a Life Member of various scientific Associations,
and is a Member of the Phi Kappa Phi Interdisciplinary Honor Society since 1998. He has published and presented over 30 research articles, and is the author of 3 chapters in
a monograph on Rheumatic Fever, brought out by the American Registry of Pathology, Washington D.C. He was a co-awardee of the Berson-Yalow Award (Scientific Paper No. 262) at the
48th Annual Meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, 2001. His research work also won the ASNC-6 Young Investigator Award at the 6th Annual American Society for Nuclear Cardiology Symposium and Scientific Session (ASNC-6), 2001. Dr. Rammohan is a Freelance Editor and Proof-Reader for various scientific books. |
