CMS College of Science and Commerce is a premier institution of higher learning, located in Coimbatore. It was established in 1988 by the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust, which is a non-profit organization. The college is located in a sprawling 30 acre complex with excellent infrastructure. Although located just 8 kms. from the centre of the city, the campus can be justifiably proud of a peaceful, congenial atmosphere, ideal for academic pursuits. CMS offers 14 Under Graduate courses and 13 Post Graduate courses besides research programmes in nine disciplines. Three more UG courses and two PG courses are being added in 2008.
